Get to know me

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a Master of Science (M.S.) in Mental Health Counseling from Indiana University. I began my therapy career working in an inpatient/outpatient setting focused on substance use and mental health, where I supported adults from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of concerns. I am level one trained in Internal Family Systems and trained in EMDR through EMDRIA.

The therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors for therapeutic success and making meaningful change. I show up as my authentic self and welcome clients to do the same, however that looks for them. I offer genuine connection and care outside of a pathologizing lens.

When working with me, you can expect coffee or tea in an office with natural light, plants, and books. I strive to bring a grounded presence, creativity, and gentle directness to the therapeutic relationship. I often bring humor or playfulness into the room as a tool for healing. Clients often describe me as down-to-earth.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading and talking about books, spending time in my large garden growing vegetables and flowers, cooking, traveling, and being outdoors. I’m always seeking new experiences and opportunities to learn.
